The system
SolHyve™ is an active climate facade system for low-energy ventilation in
multi-storey
buildings. By using solar energy, the system contributes to reducing the amount of
energy that is needed for ventilation in buildings.
The energy demand for ventilation is strongly reduced through combined use of solar
energy, heat recovery and thermal mass in the ground. The system can also be used
for cooling and preheating of ventilation air and for solar shading.
The system is demand-controlled; it can be both user-controlled and electronically
controlled. The flow of incoming fresh air and the air temperature can be managed
per building part or individually for each room.
